Historical Significance & Lore

Tigers eye has been carried as a talisman against curses and ill wishes since ancient times. Roman soldiers wore it into battle for protection and courage, believing the stone's fierce, watchful appearance gave them the eyes of the tiger - keen sight to perceive danger and the strength to overcome it. African and Asian cultures similarly revered it as an all-seeing protective stone.

Stone Symbolism

Tigers eye represents courage, confidence, and clear perception. Its distinctive chatoyant bands of gold and brown combine the symbolism of earth and sun. The stone embodies mental clarity, willpower, and the ability to see through illusion to the truth beneath.

Geological Deposit

The most significant deposits are in South Africa, Australia, India, Burma, and the United States. The tigers eye in our rings is ethically sourced from local gem and mineral shows. Our goal with our stones is to only work with materials that are already in circulation in order to not put more demand on the market for newly mined minerals.

Our Promise

While aesthetics are key in our designs, we believe true craftsmanship also considers where materials come from and how they’re made. We have a responsibility to our planet to design with intention and integrity, creating pieces that carry meaning and legacy without waste. Our approach to sustainable men’s jewelry is simple: use what already exists.
