Historical Significance & Lore

Petrified sequoia wood preserves the majesty of some of earth's most ancient and massive trees. These giant sequoias once towered over prehistoric landscapes, witnessing the rise and fall of countless species. Each piece holds within it the story of millennia, transformed from living giant to eternal stone through the patient work of mineral-rich waters. The distinctive coloring of calico sequoia - warm ambers, deep charcoals, and subtle creams that shift across the surface like geological brushstrokes - creates a fingerprint of deep time made wearable.

Stone Symbolism

Petrified sequoia represents longevity, strength, and deep-rooted wisdom. These trees lived for thousands of years, and their fossilized remains connect us to that ancient endurance. The stone embodies stability, the power of deep roots, and the ability to stand tall through centuries of change. It's a reminder of what endures, what transforms, what gets passed on.

Geological Deposit

The petrified sequoia in our rings comes from calico sequoia deposits near Elko, Nevada, sourced directly from the miners who unearthed it. The specimens were hand-selected in Quartzsite, Arizona, chosen for their unique characteristics and distinctive coloration.
