Make it:
2 oz rye
1 oz sweet vermouth
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Brandied cherry
Stir with ice. Strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with cherry.

Sterling silver will naturally patina over time. If you don't like the look of the metal as it darkens, it can be cleaned using either soap and an old toothbrush or standard jewelry cleaning solution.
